🛡 Short version: ShopPrice VN does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Everything stays on your device.

1. Who we are

ShopPrice VN is a Chrome browser extension that helps users compare prices across Tiki, Lazada, and Shopee Vietnam. The extension is developed and maintained by an independent developer based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

2. Data we do NOT collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
Browsing history or search queries
Purchase history or financial information
Location data
Cookies or session data from visited websites
Any data from websites you visit outside of Tiki, Lazada, and Shopee

3. What the extension does

ShopPrice VN reads product information (name, price, URL) from the current page when you are on Tiki, Lazada, or Shopee. This data is used only to:

Display price comparisons in the extension popup
Save your watchlist locally using Chrome's built-in storage API
Trigger price drop alerts you have configured

All of this data is stored locally on your device using chrome.storage.local. It is never sent to any server.

4. Permissions used

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions:

storage — to save your watchlist and alert settings on your device
activeTab — to read the product page you are currently viewing
tabs — to detect when you navigate to a supported platform
Host permissions (shopee.vn, tiki.vn, lazada.vn) — to run the price-reading script only on these three sites

5. Third-party services

ShopPrice VN does not integrate with any analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is shared with third parties.

6. Data retention

Your watchlist and settings are stored locally in Chrome and persist until you uninstall the extension or clear your Chrome data. You can delete all stored data at any time by removing the extension from Chrome.

7. Children's privacy

ShopPrice VN is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
